A DAY TRIP TO BRISTOL, UK

As I started editing photos I was thinking that will be a great idea to separate fashion post from travel one  but at the end I decide to put all in one as 'what to wear for a day trip to the countryside' is as much essential as 'where to eat'. I very often find myself struggling finding the balance between dressing up comfortably and stylish when it comes to mini city escapes. I collected what  all I learned so far from travelling across the country and created a mini guide how to travel fashionably dressed while discovering a new city in just a day. I am sharing all my thoughts and tips of  where to travel for a day, what to see and what to wear and of course where to eat in my ' A DAY TRIP TO BRISTOL, UK' . Enjoy

WHERE TO GO IN UK FOR A DAY TRIP?

My first suggestion will be go to Costwolds. I love this part of the countryside so so much but what about if you're looking for beautiful, not that overcrowded and a stylish place which you can easily reach by car from London.  Bristol is one those places where you can find all you need under one roof - a great outdoors walks, high street & designer shops and a wide range of brunch, coffee & tea shops and restaurants. On the top of that Bristol is less than two hours drive from Central London and you can easily access, have fun there and make your safe return in a day trip.

WHAT TO WEAR FOR A DAY IN BRISTOL?

Dressing comfortably and stylish at the same time while you have a toddler to run after and travelling to completely new destination could be a big deal for all fashionistas out there. Even if you not that much into fashion it's very difficult to decide what to wear at the weekend again. I always do by best to find balance between comfort and style. Most of the time I will go and trust on jeans and leave the rest  of the look to play with styles and colours ( all depending on weather condition, season and of course my mood).  I love shirts. They are very easy to style and always trendy. My latest shirt obsession in this floral embroidery shirt I got from Zara. I love the floral appliqué details and I never thought I would say this but yes I do love the pink colour too.

Alex's style tip: Take your photos with heels even if you wear them for that reason only. They will make your snaps looking one idea more glam but never ever leave the house without your favourite pair of snickers. In case that you can spend 10 hours on heels without complaining. If you are one of those girls one in a million please give me a call ASAP. I will need to take a lesson from you!

WHAT TO SEE IN BRISTOL?

Even this  is quite personal my must-have recommendation will refer to Cabot Tower or as I call myself the Tower of Bristol.  It's a great way to cross through the city browse restaurants and coffee shops and make your mind on your way back. The Cabot Tower is situated in one of the most beautiful public parks into the city, it's entrance free and look from top deserves taking all steps to reach the highest part.  The view from is top of the top.

WHERE TO EAT AND HAVE A TEA ?

Finally! And here, there are plenty of places to check and enjoy some relaxing time but all my love it goes to  BOSTON TEA PARTY. I love the arty interior, the food and beverage list has something to satisfy almost everyone's taste and the tea there is so refreshing. I went up for Moroccan Mint Tea you know, you know, I am a busy, happy and tired mom.  So I need something to calm me down even for a moment until Victor spill out his smoothie again:)

Diet and counting macros shouldn't be mentioned at all during weekends. Anyway it's all up to you but Boston Tea Party really has something to recover all your energy for part 2 of your trip.  I have had my favourite kinda style meal green & salmon salad.

I hope I give you an idea where to go next weekend and inspire your travel wardrobe.
